These SMS Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the “Exact Sciences Text Programs”, which are SMS programs conducted by Exact Sciences Corporation and/or its subsidiaries or affiliates (collectively referred to as “Exact Sciences,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the Cologuard® Test Text Program, the Oncodetect™ Test Text Program, and the Managed Blood Collection Text Program described herein.
HIPAA Notice: Text messages from the Exact Sciences Text Programs are sent to the mobile number provided to us with the prescriber order and may include limited protected health information. You acknowledge that text messages are unencrypted and may be intercepted or received by unintended third parties, and/or stored or archived by service providers and system operators.
By opting into either program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Overview of SMS Programs
1. Cologuard Test Text Program
By opting into the Cologuard Test Text Program, you will receive non-marketing text messages related to your Cologuard® or Cologuard Plus™ test order. Message types include:
- Order status notifications
- Collection reminders
- Results ready notifications
- CRC screening reminders
2. Oncodetect Test Text Program
By opting into the Oncodetect Text Program, you will receive non-marketing text messages related to your Oncodetect Test order. Message types include:
- Order status notifications
- Test and/or sample collection reminders
- Results ready notifications
3. Managed Blood Collection Text Program*
By opting into the Managed Blood Text Program, you will receive non-marketing text messages related to your Exact Sciences test order. Message types include:
- Blood draw appointment scheduling, reminders, and notifications
*Applicable only when blood draw collection is arranged with help from Exact Sciences. You may opt-out of these reminders separately. You can opt-out of blood draw appointment reminders and notifications at any time. Please note, you will continue to receive other Oncodetect test text messages unless you separately opt-out of those.
2. Opt-Out
Enrollment in any SMS program is not a condition of your test order. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt-out at any time:- Cologuard Text Program: Reply STOP to the number used to communicate with you or call 1-844-870-8870.
- Oncodetect Text Program: Reply STOP to the number used to communicate with you or call 1-888-303-6233.
- Managed Blood Collection Text Program: Reply STOP to the number used to communicate with you or call 1-888-303-6233.
Replying STOP to one program does not opt you out of other programs. You must opt-out separately for each program.
For assistance, reply HELP to the message received or contact the respective support numbers above.
After you reply STOP, we may send a final SMS message to confirm that you have unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that number. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time or contact us at 1-844-870-8870 for the Cologuard Text Program or 1-888-303-6233 for the Oncodetect Text Program and Managed Blood Collection Program.
3. Data Privacy and Security
Messages may include limited protected health information. Messages are unencrypted, and Exact Sciences is not responsible for unauthorized access, interception, or data storage by third parties.
You acknowledge that text messages will be sent to the mobile phone number provided to Exact Sciences at the time of your Cologuard or Oncodetect test order. If you change your mobile number, contact us at:

Exact Sciences is not responsible for undelivered messages.
4. Service Availability & Liability
Exact Sciences does not guarantee SMS availability at all times and is not responsible for:
- Message delivery failures or delays.
- Inaccurate or incomplete message content.
- Any damages resulting from reliance on messages.
We support major and minor carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and more. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Changes to the SMS Programs
Exact Sciences may modify or discontinue its SMS programs at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms and Conditions, and continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of the changes.
